LOVE
I have been battling what to write about for a week or two now. One thing that has grasped my attention is LOVE. Love is something amazing and extraordinary, so much deeper than we could ever imagine. It is simple but complex. I know for sure that Jesus Christ is my one and true love. In 1 John 4 :7 -8 John describes God's love for us: 7 Beloved, let us love one another, because love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. 8 Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love." I want this type of deep love to be between me and God but I want a similar "love" in my relationships. A psychologist by the name of Robert Sternberg developed what is known as the triangular theory of love; his three components are passion, commitment, and intimacy.
