Purpose

I want this blog to have a purpose. I want to write about God, life experiences, and motivation. Life is hard....sometimes we just want to give up. (To be totally honest I do some days!!) I want this to be a place of encouragement and motivation. I want people to read this and know that they are loved by the King. You are beautifully and wonderfully made.

I know when I read people's writing, whether it be a blog, article, a post, or a message; I feel like they tend to write, not what they feel, but what will sounds good/ or looks good to the readers. I want to be real and original with my readers. This includes the good, the bad, and the ugly. I want this blog to be full of love and life...starting now!!

Perfection....That's Overrated!!

    Everyone tries to obtain this sense of "perfection". Let me tell you...there is no such thing. In our minds we have a vision of what our lives should look like and then we try to perfect it. For me perfection is straight A's, a 4.3 GPA, a great relationship, and to have plenty of time on my hands. Unfortunately none of these things are true right now. We are persistent constantly trying to "tweak" things in life. Can we let go and just let God take the rains for once? I love how C.S. Lewis puts this into perspective. So let God take hold of your life and try to sit back and enjoy the ride you never know you may enjoy it!! Each time you fall He'll pick you up. Let's be SAFE! That is what the media, our community, and the nation has been saying for almost a week now. We all realize that we MUST practice social distancing so we can protect ourselves and others from COVID-19.  We keep using this word safe which often times puts us in this small box that we have to hide everything in...we have to keep it all to ourselves and we do not share with others.
