You are Loved By The King

1 Corinthians 13:4-8 New Living Translation 

4 Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud 5 or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. 6 It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. 7 Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.
8 Prophecy and speaking in unknown languages and special knowledge will become useless. But love will last forever!

This passages not only shows the love of God to us, but how how we should show this love to others. 
I not only took this from the Bible but it is in my favorite Nicholas Sparks movie "A Walk to Remember". This a clean and inspirational movie about love and faith. I love this one scene when the both main characters are in a hospital, Jamie gives Landon a book that her mother wrote in. And this book had quotes from famous people but it had this verse. He read it to her not only was it heart felt but also romantic. 

So I guess my point is LOVE is a HUGE role in life. It can mend broken hearts, lift spirits, and bring people together! Don't take advantage of what you have, live everyday like it could be your last, say what you mean, do what you say, and please don't forget to LOVE others and LOVE God!!

Perfection....That's Overrated!!

    Everyone tries to obtain this sense of "perfection". Let me tell you...there is no such thing. In our minds we have a vision of what our lives should look like and then we try to perfect it. For me perfection is straight A's, a 4.3 GPA, a great relationship, and to have plenty of time on my hands. Unfortunately none of these things are true right now. We are persistent constantly trying to "tweak" things in life. Can we let go and just let God take the rains for once? I love how C.S. Lewis puts this into perspective. So let God take hold of your life and try to sit back and enjoy the ride you never know you may enjoy it!! Each time you fall He'll pick you up. Let's be SAFE! That is what the media, our community, and the nation has been saying for almost a week now. We all realize that we MUST practice social distancing so we can protect ourselves and others from COVID-19.  We keep using this word safe which often times puts us in this small box that we have to hide everything in...we have to keep it all to ourselves and we do not share with others.
