Saturday Doubts

"For beautiful eyes, look for the good in others;

for beautiful lips, speak only words of kindness;

and for poise, walk with the knowledge that you

are never alone."

~Audrey Hepburn

As a beautiful actress/singer once said..be you

no matter what because you are never alone.

The feeling of not having self-worth is wide spread

over the nation and the world and it needs to be

addressed.

Do not doubt your worth because the sun, moon,

and stars are lucky to be looking down on you.

They admire your strength, dignity, and perseverance.

They believe that you are strong and willing to make

a change if you want to.. and if you don't then they

support it. If you are trying to make a change, then DO IT.

Don't hold back. Don't change half-way.

No one is standing in your way. If you feel like

the world is against you, do not be discouraged.

You are empowered by the Lord Jesus Christ to create

a change, but only if you want to. You are able to break the

cycle, it's not going to be easy but it will be worth the climb.

A wise man Mahatma Gandi once said, "Be the change you

want to see in the world." Only YOU can change how you see

the world and how you live in this world, you only have one

chance at this life...so don't waste it.

The feeling of loneliness and this idea that you are all alone

in this world has been reciprocated by many.

Jesus Christ felt the same way in the garden of Gethsemane,

on the eve of his death when he was on his hands and knees

crying out to his Father.

And for the one time in history, God did not reply because he

had a greater plan.

In this moment the Son of God felt alone, he felt this urge

of sadness that aches in your heart and nothing seems to

ease it. Unfortunately we also feel emptiness, a pit of despair,

something we can not escape from. It feels as

if a dark cloud is constantly over top of us and the weight

of our world is constantly upon our shoulders. If you feel

like this here are some remedies: #1 Your not

alone, another 107 billion people have lived and died

have gone through the same thing. #2 You are not alone

right now, no matter how isolated you feel there is someone

who cares and is willing to listen. #3 God is there, call out

to him let me know what you are feeling, he wants to know.

#4 If numbers 1-3 seem to faze you, then read the

words that were written by God to build you up a.k.a the Bible.

Now you may say, "I have no idea where to start?" Well that is

ok, I got ya! Here are three versus that helped me through the darkest

parts of my life and in some aspects they saved my life.

"I can do all things through him who gives me strength."

Philippines 4:13

"For I know the plans that I have for you, declares the Lord,

plans to prosper you, and not to harm you, plans to give you

hope and a future."

Jeremiah 29:11

Now this verse holds a special place in my heart,  a

woman who knew me very well used this verse to describe me

and my life. At the time I was struggling with internal and external

issues, this verse taught me that I have the strength through Christ

to over the impossible.

"The Lord is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and

rich in love."

Psalm 145:8

Now some are not encouraged my words, some have to hear

the encouragement. So I encourage you to listen to the song

"Reckless Love" by Cory Asbury, it shows the love that Jesus

Christ has for you no matter what you have done or what you

are going to do. Remember no matter what you are loved by

the King, no one can ever change that. It looks like Ms. Hepburn

knew how to encourage her generations, along with

generations to come!

If anyone ever feels like they have no one, please please

contact me and I will give you some encouragement!
