Life With A Purpose

Life has a sense of uncertainty in all of it's aspects. Some have their life planned out and believe/think that they have it all together. Which it is unfortunate for them because they have NO CONTROL of it. It makes me sad to think that believe that. I'm not saying that you can't hope, wish, and dream. In which you can do all of those things. But there is a time in your life when we need to face reality. Which is hard, cold, and real. This sounds very point blank....but it is. Life is MESSY, HURTFUL, LONELY, and very UNCERTAIN. Life is MESSY...twisted minds, messed up families, and weird circumstances. This is mind blowing that life can be messy, there is not a right from wrong in this moment and even if there is a right from wrong, you don't even know the difference. You are sitting there wondering how you reached this point when you no longer have control of your life. It unravels and you feel as if you have to let it go. The moon and stars both are things that I admire. They illuminate the sky when everything else is dark. When I want to capture this beauty on camera is shows up as a huge light. I have been thinking about light, the moon, the sun, and the stars. They all radiate some type of light. It got me thinking how God is the light in this dark, dark, dark...world.  I go to this special place every summer that always brings brings a smile to my face. This place is paradise and beautiful. This place is in Hidden Springs, Arizona. Now I know that is not you were expecting, you were thinking a island or the some place in the the mountains. No no.. that is no where near this place. I have been battling what to write about for a week or two now. One thing that has grasped my attention is LOVE. Love is something amazing and extraordinary, so much deeper than we could ever imagine. It is simple but complex. I know for sure that Jesus Christ is my one and true love.  In 1 John 4 :7 -8 John describes God's love for us: 7 Beloved, let us love one another, because love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. 8 Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love."  I want this type of deep love to be between me and God but I want a similar "love" in my relationships.  A psychologist by the name of Robert Sternberg developed what is known as the triangular theory of love; his three components are passion, commitment, and intimacy.
